BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

HEY!

First thing, SORRY I have been gone! My Internet had been down for weeks and it has been a disaster. Not the first time this has happened and it wont be the last. Working on getting it fixed but I am having problems with our Internet company. They are estimating it will be fixed in the spring but for now we are in the clear. Fingers crossed!  I just wanted to clear that up. Now lets talk fun stuff.

I would never trade it for the world because it got me here... doing what I love! See, being a beauty school drop out isn't all that bad! HEHE!

Tomorrow will be the start of the giveaway! I will post the rules as well as photos of all the prizes here and on social media! Everyone is welcome to participate!!

PLEASE share the giveaway with friends and family!

Office Update: #2

Hello Loves,

I wanted to give you all an office update today! SO, this is what the room looks like! Everything is up except one picture frame! The reason WHY the picture frame isn't up is because when I got home from buying them all....... ONE frame was BROKEN! HOOWWW FRUSTRATING! I am SO happy with how it has turned out so far. I'm going to be adding more gold dots to the wall as well as cleaning and buying new office supplies for my desk. Sorry this is taking so long but I am trying to do this all on a budget! Plus, stuff just keeps going wrong! Hope you all have a lovely day!

Pink Of Hearts

Hey Dolls

So today is a review of the OPI's Pink Of Hearts 2013 Nail duo.
In this kit you get a glitter polish called "More than glimmer. This glitter polish is a limited edition for breast cancer awareness month. Not only is it limited but its also a MATTE GLITTER! Sayyyy WHAT!? Yes, a matte glitter! You also get the polish "Pink-ing of you". PLUS! Yes, more.. You get free crystal and pink ribbon decals. If you follow me on Instagram I had posted a picture saying that I wanted this really bad! I was soooo excited when I was at the beauty supply store looking for a new hair product and found it!
So lets just jump right into it!

This is just MORE THAN A GLIMMER on clean nails. One has a top coat and the other does NOT. You cant really tell the difference. I have to say, I was really impressed with the glitter itself! I love that they used silver, pink, and teal glitter together. I also love that they used different sized glitter. I applied 4 coats to achieve this look.  I'm VERY impressed OPI!

So PINK-ING OF YOU was way more work! This color is very sheer nail polish. I applied 3 coats to achieve this look but wanted more! I do like the color but I don't see myself grabbing for this polish often.

I do REALLY like the combination of the pink and glitter! OMG its like my all time favorite party nails! I swear I wish I had this glitter a long time ago! I know a lot of people are into sparkle, sequins, glitter,  and gold dots right now! I happen to be one of those girls! I'm like a bass fish, I go to anything that is shiny! This is the ultimate party girl nail! I could see myself wearing this for a bachelorette party, a kids party, or a girls night out! I would also wearing the glitter over BLACK polish  for New Years! OMG! SOOO SMART! Sorry, just had a moment! Or a white polish with the glitter would look very nice! It has lots of color in the glitter so it would stand out! Or a silver! That might look nice! Me, I'm going to apply it over anything!  The only thing I wasn't very happy about was the pink ribbon. It is almost the same color as the nail polish! Impossible to see if you put it on with this pink color. I did have it on in the picture above.
Leave me a comment if you can spot it!

You can find this PINK OF HEARTS 2013 DUO SET at your local Ulta or online at Ulta by clicking  here .

Easy at Home Nail Art

Hey y'all,

I just wanted to share an easy at home nail tutorial that everyone should be able to complete on their own nails.

What you need:
Nail polish
top coat
gold or silver permanent marker (I got mine here)

Directions
1.Paint nails with 2 coats of the desired polish
2. Let the nails completely dry
3. Take silver or gold permanent marker and place a small dot on the nail by just touching the point of the marker to the nail and lifting it right back up. Make sure to keep the marker straight up and not leaning to one side.
4. Continue to make many dots on each nail
5. Once you have finished applying dots to each nails let them sit and dry for a couple minutes
6. Apply top coat and allow appropriate dry time

I really love how mine come out! They are easy, cute, and they are on point with the gold/silver polka dot trend!
I will be continuing with more permanent marker nail art next week!

OPI: Gargantuan Green Grape

DOLLS!!

When I say I'm obsessed..I mean I'M OBSESSED with OPI's Gargantuan green grape! This is by far my new favorite color! Its unlike any other Essie or OPI I own. Its like a vivid almost neon light green. It looks awesome with a golden tan. I really like the effect I get from 3 layers. Its a little sheer when it first goes on but it can totally be built up to look more opaque. If you are in the market for a new summer nail color I HIGHLY suggest you pick this one up!!

I got this bracelet set from ALDO.
